In this year long virtual roundtable series, we will dialogue around Vea Vecchi’s book entitled ‘Art and Creativity in Reggio Emilia: Exploring the role and potential of ateliers in early childhood education’. Together in this work, we will explore the role of creativity, art and of ateliers (art spaces) in early childhood contexts and the potential of the aesthetic languages in our work with children. In every session, we will focus on a theme from Vea Vecchi’s book and we will discuss how such themes relate to our day to day practices in the school.
This is a digital event - via Zoom. One ticket gives you an "All Access" into eight (8) sessions 2022-2023. The series occurs October 2022 through April 2023 - on Mondays from 5:30pm-7:00pm. One ticket per person. We require attendance to all the sessions. Access details will be provided via email. Cost: $200 for the entire Roundtable series of eight (8) sessions. It is recommended, though not required, that you buy the book “Art and Creativity in Reggio Emilia: Exploring the role and potential of ateliers in early childhood education” by Vea Vecchi.
